About the Band

Acuity is a music band based in Northampton, England, which was formed in October, 2007. We play music that is generally atmospheric and emotional, performing at public venues, and recording albums. We began when Bill Lockett and Nicholas Heathfield were introduced to each other by Christopher Gaskill, and the two found that they both played musical instruments. In due course, they were playing and recording songs in Bill's cellar. Later, James Oxford was invited, and was confirmed as a member of the band. Later, Paul Wallace joined as the bass guitarist, but he has since left, after the band's first album was recorded.
